Pablo
began playing the piano at the age of four, when
he was taught his first notes by his father. At
eight he was studying at 'Juventudes Musicales'
and combining his work on the piano with his love
for flamenco.
Two years
later he was given a place at the Music Conservatory
in Granada where he continued his studies of piano,
theory and harmony, under the tuition of such
professors as Gloria Emparán, José
Luis Hidalgo, Luis Megías y Enrique Rueda.

years Pablo sang tenor in the prestigious Granada

He
remains rooted in the world of flamenco, members
of his family include Antonio Cujón, the
founder of the Zambra in Granada and Pepe Albaicín,
the great Granadino singer is his grandfather.
He has played with the Flamenco singer Luis Heredia
'El Polaco' with whom he went on tour in Holland,
acompanied by Miguel Hochando and La Nitra.
Alongside
his love for Flamenco and Classical music his
other musical interests include bolero, salsa,
pop and funk, all of which have influenced his
style. He is also a jazz player and studied jazz
flamenco with Chano Domínguez and Rubém
Dantas with whom he also performed. In 1999 his
flamenco fusion group 'Paranojazz' were finalists
at the Jazz Festival of Punta Umbría in
Huelva. He is also a guest performer alongside
Enrique Morente and Emilio Maya on the album Cale
Calé by Taller de Compás.
Pablo composed
all the songs and wrote all the lyrics on this,
his first album, named 'Almanjáyar', which
features the flamenco singers Ismael Fernández
y Rosario Jiménez 'la Cata'and the Jazz
singer, María Deyla. Sunny White plays
violin with Guillermo Morente on double bass.
Miguel Fernández 'Cheyenne' plays cajón,
congas, udu, percussion effects and shaker and
Francisco Lucas Bustos plays Indian tabla. Palmas
are provided by José Bermúdez 'Lince',
Miguel Fernández 'Cheyenne' and Pablo himself.
